Ivan C. Harner, FACHE

hfmich_ichcomwebMr. Harner is Executive Director of the Hemophilia Foundation of Michigan. As the organization's chief administrative officer Mr. Harner is responsible for resource development, management and supervision of all operations. Mr. Harner also serves as the Regional Director for the Hemophilia Treatment Center Network that includes 19 treatment centers in Michigan, Indiana and Ohio.

A graduate of Eastern Michigan University, Mr. Harner holds a Bachelor of Business Administration and Master of Arts degrees. Mr. Harner is a member of a number of professional organizations including, Fellow, American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE); Fellow and Certified Member, Association of Behavioral Healthcare Management; and an Advanced Member of the Healthcare Financial Management Association.

 

Suzanne Kapica, MA LPC

Suzanne is the Regional Coordinator.  She works with all of the 19 hemophilia treatment centers (HTC’s) across Michigan, Ohio and Indiana to ensure access to quality comprehensive medical care and prevention services.  Suzanne is primarily working to administer grant proposals, secure funding for the HTC’s as well as promoting national programs and initiatives throughout the network of bleeding disorders service providers.

Ms. Kapica has a BA in Business Management/Hospitality Management and her MA in Counseling.  She has been working in program administration of child welfare and mental health programs for treatment and prevention, as well as national grant projects working with Title X clinics.  Email: This email address is being protected from spam bots, you need Javascript enabled to view it
 


Colleen Joiner, LMSW

Ms. Joiner is Client Services Coordinator. Ms. Joiner administers the financial assistance program, information and referral, brief solution-focused counseling, outreach, client advocacy and crises intervention.

Colleen also coordinates program development and implementation which includes identifying funding sources, consumer needs, objective setting, evaluation, marketing and recruiting.

In addition, Colleen works with the hemophilia treatment centers to maximize access to medical and psychosocial resources for consumers. Ms. Joiner holds a BA degree from Michigan State University and an MSW degree from Wayne State University.

 

 

Ann LeWalk, MA, LLPC

Ms. LeWalk is the Administrative Coordinator for the Hemophilia Foundation of Michigan. She works with grant proposals, maintains HFM's resource library, develops outcome measurements and assists with HFM program coordination.

Ms. LeWalk has a BA in Psychology from the University of Michigan and an MA in Counseling from Wayne State University.

Tanya Roberson

hfmich_tanyamay03Ms. Roberson is an Administrative Assistant for the Hemophilia Foundation of Michigan.

Ms. Roberson provides assistance to the Foundation in a number of areas, including accounts payable, responding to requests for materials, and filing. Her prior experience in handling client accounts and large mailings is valuable in her position at HFM.

 

 

Dawn Evans

hfmich_evansdawn915Ms. Evans is the Special Events Coordinator of the Hemophilia Foundation of Michigan. She is responsible for initiating, planning and implementing a wide range of special events for HFM.

Dawn was a volunteer at HFM for many years before recently joining the staff. Dawn's father and son are both affected with Hemophilia and she is committed to promoting the awareness of Hemophilia. Dawn is a graduate of Lake Erie College with a BS degree in Business Administration.


 


Tim Wicks, BS

Mr. Wicks is the Education and Youth Programs Coordinator for the Hemophilia Foundation of Michigan. He is responsible for the year round components of Camp Bold Eagle, Eagle Outpost, Eagle Expedition and the Counselor-In-Training (CIT) program. In addition to camp, Mr. Wicks coordinates other youth programs including Teen Retreat, MYLIFE and the SpringFest youth programming. Mr. Wicks is also responsible for the development and implementation of education materials and programs regarding hereditary bleeding disorders and their complications.

Mr. Wicks was raised outside of Deshler, Ohio and holds a BS from Grace Bible College in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Prior to HFM, he was employed as Outdoor Education Instructor at Michindoh Camp and Conference Center. Mr. Wicks has worked with HFM as a camp staff member since 2000.
