  • Preserve Children's Special Health Care Coverage for Adults

The Michigan legislature is in the midst of working on the state budget for fiscal year 2010-2011 and the Hemophilia Foundation of Michigan (HFM) is closely monitoring moves which impact people with bleeding disorrders. Once again, the bleeding disorders community is at risk of cuts to Children's Special Health Care Services for adults. HFM is asking its members to contact their state legislators to encourage their support of the preservation of Children's Special Health Care Services for adults with bleeding disorders.

Join HFM for the following Advocacy Events:

    • Saturday, April 24, 2010: Advocacy Session at SpringFest. State Representative, Dan Scripps, will provide insight on advocating for our cause and changing policy to secure funding.
