The Womens Information Network (WIN) program trains women with bleeding disorders to conduct presentations and disseminate information for women who may be suffering from an undiagnosed bleeding disorder. In Michigan statistics indicate that between 60,000 and 120,000 women potentially have a bleeding disorder and only approximately 500 women are currently seeking treatment from a Hemophilia Treatment Center. The WIN program is in place to provide information specific to women with bleeding disorders and to help you to find the treatment center in your area. The WIN program also has an exciting new mentoring program. Women with bleeding disorders act as mentors and supporters to newly diagnosed women. These women will be available to answer questions and share their insights about living with a bleeding disorder. If you would like to have a WIN member give a presentation about bleeding disorders in women please contact Colleen Joiner at This email address is being protected from spam bots, you need Javascript enabled to view it or 800-482-3041.
