Saturday, May 1st from 3:30p 7:00p at the Shark Club in
Howell. This event is an exciting afternoon
of food, drink, entertainment, a silent auction, 50/50 and reverse raffles and
prizes galore. If you were in attendance
last year, you know how much fun everyone had.
Proceeds of this event help HFM provide quality
programs and services to men, women, and children within the bleeding disorders
community.
How Derby for Dreams Works:
For
the price of admission, you will receive
chips good toward placing bets on the horse wheel and roulette.
Adopt-a-Derby-Duck for a buck! Decorate and race your duck in the
DUCKHILL DOWNS
pond. If your duck wins, so do you. Winners in each will receive
tickets for
prizes at the end of the afternoon. Looking
for more fun? Try your hand at blackjack for CASH payouts.
The 136th running of the Kentucky
Derby will be shown LIVE on all TVs. If you hold the ticket with Win, Place or
Show Kentucky Derby horse, you are eligible to win a special Run for the Roses
prize.
Ladies, dont forget to wear your favorite Derby
Hat. Does a
Derby hat improve ones luck
at picking a winner? Some say, YES it
certainly helps!
The afternoon will capture the mood and spirit
of the famous Churchill Downs track while making you feel you are part of the
Most Exciting Two Minutes in Sports.
BONUS:A Texas Hold 'Em tournament will be held during and after Derby for Dreams with HFM as the benefiting charity.
Admission is $30/single and $50/couple. Each admission includes a southern style

Swinging for Smiles
Charity Golf Outing
June 7, 2010
Fox Hills,
Plymouth, Michigan
It's
almost time to shine up those clubs and head to Fox Hills in Plymouth
for HFM's annual Swinging for Smiles Charity Golf Outing. This
fun-filled event takes place on Monday, June8th at Fox Hills Golf Club
in Plymouth. Proceeds of this event go directly to HFM's Camp Bold
Eagle and Eagle Outpost.
Camp
Bold Eagle and Eagle Outpost are for children with bleeding disorders
between the ages of 6 and 16. Camp nurtures the personal growth and
development of campers and staff. While at camp, campers learn how to
self-infuse I.V. medication, at which time they achieve complete
independence.
The
cost of sending a child to one of these camps is over $2,000. However,
HFM never turns a child away due to financial constraints or the
inability to pay. Without the generous support of our sponsors,
donors, golfers and volunteers, we would not be able to have this open
door policy for camp.

HFM
and Walk Chair, Daryl Brown, would like to invite those who
participated in 2009 AND all newcomers to our second annual Walkin' on
the Wild Side for Hemophilia!
In 2009, 769 walkers strolled through 2 miles of the Detroit Zoo raising over $100,000 for
HFM's programs and services helping those in the bleeding disorders
community. In 2010, with YOUR help, we hope to shatter our $100,000 /
1,000 walker goal.
