Please support us by attending one of our events:
HFM along
with event co-chairs, Daryl Brown and Suzanne Liston Faunce, are proud to
announce a new fundraiser for 2009. Walkin' on the Wild Side for Hemophilia will take place on Saturday, August 29 at the Detroit Zoo. (This is NOT Labor Day Weekend)
Walkin' on the Wild Side for Hemophilia is a
family-friendly way to raise awareness and funds for HFMs programs and
services, including Camp Bold Eagle.
Everyone is encouraged to form a team. Remember, the bigger the team, the better! Our goal is to raise $100,000. Registration (with breakfast) begins at 7:45am; the Walk starts at 9:00am. There will be entertainment, prizes, and fun for all ages. Everyone is invited to stay and enjoy a day at the zoo after the Walk.
Participants who raise $100 receive all day admission to the zoo, Walk t-shirt, refreshments, "Zoo Bucks" accepted at any concession stand for purchase of food and beverages and a special give-a-way.
Registration fee of $10 per person
gets you all day admission to the zoo and refreshments. Children UNDER
2 are free. Please keep in mind this event is a FUNDRAISER and there
are costs associated with admission to the zoo, Walk t-shirts, give-a-ways and refreshments.
