Looking for a way to have fun while raising money for HFM?
 
Why not help us sell betting chips during
Texas Hold 'Em tournaments in 2010.

We are looking for volunteers at the
Shark Club in Howell on the following dates. 

All shifts are from
Noon to 5:00p OR 4:30p to 9:30p OR 9:00p to 2:00a

Saturday, May 1 - Tuesday, May 4
Thursday, August 5 - 
Sunday, August 8
Friday, September 10
- Monday, September 13
Wednesday, October 20 -
Saturday, October 23

We need 2 volunteers per shift.


ATTENTION PARENTS OF CAMP BOLD EAGLE CAMPERS!

Once again HFM will offset the expense of your child's camp fee by volunteering during two Texas Hold 'Em shifts!

Comedy for a Cause
Wednesday, July 28, 2010 - Joey's Comedy Club, Livonia

 

In memory of Brian Franko, HFM announces an evening at Joey's Comedy Club in Livonia.  Tickets to this event are $15 each with $10 coming right back to HFM!

  • Seating begins at 7:30p with the comedy show starting at 8:00p. 
  • Pizza is 1/2 off during the show
  • 25% off your meal before the show - with reservations

Walkin' on the Wild Side for Hemophilia

The Hemophilia Foundation of Michigan (HFM) along with event chair, Daryl Brown, is proud to announce details for the 2010 Walkin' on the Wild Side for Hemophilia event.  Net proceeds of this event will support HFM's programs and services for men, women and children with bleeding disorders.

Walkin' on the Wild Side for Hemophilia takes place on Sunday, August 29, 2010 at the Detroit Zoo.  Registration (with breakfast) begins at 7:45a, the Walk starts at 8:45a.  There will be entertainment, prizes and fun for all ages.  Everyone is encouraged to form a team.  Remember, the bigger the team, the better!  Our goal in 2010 is $100,000 raised and 1,000 walkers.

Registration fee of $15 per person gets you all day admission to the zoo, refreshments and a Walk tshirt.  This year, we will have children's sizes available.  Children under 2 are free.  Please keep in mind this is a fundraiser and there are cost associated with the event.

NEW for 2010: For every contribution of $100 made, the individual donor's name will be put in a drawing for three exciting prizes!  These prizes include: A 50" plasma TV, an Apple iPad, and an Amazon Kindle.  Winners will be drawn immediately after the Walk ends at 10:30a on the Grassy Knoll at the Detroit Zoo.  Winners need NOT be present.

Example: John Smith donates $500 to Sally Jones, captain of Team ABC.  John Smith's name will be put in the drawing five times.

Donate to your favorite team captain, walker or directly to HFM online or mail your donations to HFM by Wednesday, August 25, 2010 to be considered for the drawing.  Donations made after that date will NOT be included.
